I was very glad to compose the music for this:
...and also for this, newly added to Netflix:
While we're at it - tell your tv/filmmaker pals about my updated showreel:
To the GFT. "Caligula - The Ultimate Cut" sure put the 'bonk' in bonkers. Nuts and horrible and - quite hard to describe.
I recently caught up with "And Then There Were None" (1974). Over-boiled baloney, of course, but that's a big part of the fun. And Bruni Nicolai's soundtrack is groovy.
But my gast was particularly flabbered by "Black Carrion" from Hammer House Of Mystery And Suspense recently on Taking Pictures.
Everyone should see this hokum once. Or maybe not.
Anne Enright is a fab guest on This Cultural Life: on being told from time to time that, as a writer, she is brave: "It's not really a word I use... it's the kind of thing your mother-in-law says about your carpet".
If - like me - you love Billy C, you should enjoy this.
The episode on Alison Lapper was very powerful TV.
Anyway - here comes some art. (Warning: includes a portrait of the writer of "Nature Boy"...)
