Happy holidays. Hope you had a nice Christmas. I got some oil paints. (Reader's voice: "Oh fuck")

The kids gave me peanuts, chocolate and some lime cordial. *beat* Next year I'll just ask for the money (reader: Boo! Hiss!). Och I'm only kidding.

Ghosts (Greetin'? No I wisnae)...

The return of The Detectorists (it's comforting to think that while the world goes mad, Terry is still giving talks to the Danebury Metal Detecting Club while his wife doles out undrinkable lemonade) ...

The Boy, The Mole The Fox And The Horse (This is a bit slow / twee...och I'll stick with it..wait - why am I greetin' again!?)...

And I enjoyed My Old School - a unique story well told.

I can also say that I have now watched Die Hard.

If you haven't seen Storyville - A Bunch Of Amateurs - I would highly recommend it.
