I've had a few groovy visits through to Dunfermline since the launch of "My Dog & Other VIPs" at Fire Station Creative - catching up with friends and family and (with some relief) counting the wee red dots. (Art for art's sake but money for gawdsake...) What a lovely thing it is to see some of my artistic efforts framed and displayed in such a beautiful space. In terms of my acapella rendering of The Kelty Clippie on the opening night; well, to quote Neil Armstrong I guess you had to be there.
I was glad of this coverage in the Scotsman (*cough* Too Long / Don't Read - except for "he captures the essence of his subject" *cough* )
And I was glad to be a guest on BBC Scotland's The Arts Mix talking about the exhibition. One can listen again here.
"My Dog & Other VIPs" runs until April 27th.

The great Clem Burke is gone. But his fills live on....
David Sedaris is still with us - back with a new series on Radio 4.
What's something that made you laugh out loud recently? I'll go first. Beck's "Loser" - specifically the Sprechen Sie Deutsch, baby? before the fade out. Fab.

Here come some recent visual creations (the resemblance of some faces to actors who featured in the cast of the BBC series of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy are not entirely co-incidental. Look out for a member of Boney M too)...
