Not THAT Jack Douglas

So Teenage Fanclub played a socially distanced club show in Cardiff on Sun 8th Aug, supported by Group Listening:

And on Sun 22nd we headlined The Far Out tent at Green Man:

It was weird but certainly fun to play again, giving some Endless Arcade songs their first live outings.

One thing about the band functioning again, Norman starts spinning tracks for the edification of whoever in the vicinity might be inclined. Here's a very wee playlist of some stuff he was playing and I was digging:

More shows to come, of course - https://www.teenagefanclub.com/live

Belated farewell, Una Stubbs. Wonderfully horrible as Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge (with the late, fab Jon Pertwee, of course).

And farewell, Don. I reckon this is my favourite Everlys track:

I've been listening a lot to the John Lennon songs on Double Fantasy and Milk & Honey. Interesting to know the producer was one Jack Douglas...

If you haven't read "Happy-Go-Lucky" by David Sedaris, I can recommend it.

And farewell, Charlie...
