Birmingham, Norwich, Bath & Brighton

Visited Ashby, where Flashman's memoirs were found in an auction house.

I had a nice clotted cream ice-cream with a wee flake.

I took the notion to draw Frank Bough

Fish curry in Birmingham. Had a bash at sketching Felicity Kendal.

(Sorry, hen.)

The Art Gallery - with smashing tea room - was closed for refurbishment. Boo. But I had a wee look in the Colley Ison Gallery (Emin, Banksy, Hockney, etc.)

Soundcheck. Fish & Chips here was grand:

Gig was a gas. Thanks, Birmingham. Met my old pal Olly for a post-gig chinwag.

Drew Orson Welles en route to Norwich.

Drew Joan Collins

Visited The Sainsbury Centre at UEA which, among other things, was hosting Picasso - The Legacy Of Youth...

Picasso drew this when he was 15.

Ate Katsu curry.

Played fun gig (thanks, Norwich). Made for the beautiful city of Bath. Arrived too late at Victoria Art Gallery to get a look around.
Drew, Eric, Ernie & André...

Ate chicken udon, sketched Andrew Sachs and played a v. fun show.

We felt the love, Bath. Komedia is a great venue. Hopefully y'all enjoyed the first ever live outing of Raymond's "Middle Of The Road".

Drove past Stonehenge.

Stonehenge recently.

Had a bash a drawing a young Picasso:

Tried again (this time not in a moving vehicle):

*This* has a had some love on the Grayson's Art Club Faceboke page. Which is nice.

Salisbury sure is a pretty city.

The sun came out. Al fresco fish 'n' chips and a beer.

Nice public house

Later that same evening: steak n chips followed by a pleasant enough contender in my search for  The World's Best Tiramisu.

Drew Tracy Emin and Mary Beard...

Visited Brighton Art Gallery & Museum...

I patronised a Brazilian steakhouse (splendid friend banana) and promenaded along the beach.

Behold - a free flake with my (clotted cream) ice cream due to my Glasgow accent. The silver-tongued devil strikes again....

The show was fun. Strict curfew so we had to tighten the set slightly.

Nice to catch up with the good folk of Republic Of Music.

I don't know about you but when I get back to my hotel room after a hard day at the drum-kit coal face, I like to sketch John Sergeant...

The splendid Frøkedal have been opening for us. This song is a particular gem.

Toodle-oo.
